Sneak preview – new music for Flap Flap 2.0

Last night I composed the new song for the Cloud Jump game mode that will be in Flap Flap 2.0. Wanna hear it? Sure you can! Just press play on the semi-ugly flash player below (it’s on the right).

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

I’ve tried to go for a “chiptune” sound, but added some synths that are a bit less jarring. Hopefully you like this dreamy little piece. It’s always fun testing your music to your game and seeing how the pieces fit. I’m very happy with the look and feel of the Cloud Jump mode and hope you’ll like it too!

Here are some screenshots of some levels. The graphics are auto-generated to change every time you play, so they might never look like this on your device.

I’m plugging away on the last bits of code at the moment. There are a few things missing, but as soon as the new game center achievement and new menus are up and running, the game is shipped over to Apple for approval.
